Ingredients 200g dark chocolate 200g butter 200g grounded almonds 200g caster sugar 80g flour 5 eggs
Method 1. Gently dissolve the chocolate in a bit of coffee. When the chocolate is smooth, add to the butter. Cut into small cubes and stir to obtain a perfect, consistent mixture. 2. In a mixing bowl, cream the egg yolks with the sugar. Incorporate the chocolate and melted butter then add the flour and the almonds while mixing vigorously. 3. Finally, incorporate delicately beaten egg whites. 4. Now pour the paste into a rectangular or round mould and cook for approximately for 35 to 45 minutes in an average oven without pre-heating. Take care that the heart of the cake gives a "Browny" effect. 5. I highly advise that you taste this delicious dessert with custard of "îles flottantes" (floating islands). |
